Lifting Consulting

Industrial lifting consulting with Texas Crane Resources gives you direct access to field-tested expertise for crane and material handling decisions that carry real operational and safety consequences. We have been designing, installing, inspecting, and troubleshooting overhead crane equipment since the 1990s, and we bring that perspective into every planning discussion.

We begin by listening to your production goals, pain points, and constraints-whether you are expanding a bay, adding a new line, or trying to fix chronic issues with an existing crane. From there, we walk the facility, confirm measurements, and look at how material actually moves today. That allows us to separate wish lists from what will truly improve throughput and safety.

Our consulting support can include concept layouts, crane and runway configurations, hoist selection, duty class recommendations, and electrification and control options. We also help you define realistic project scopes and budgets so bid packages are clear and comparable. When needed, we review vendor proposals, identify gaps or over-design, and help you avoid both under-specification and unnecessary cost.

For active projects, we provide project management support: coordination with structural and electrical engineers, alignment of installation sequences with plant outages, and oversight of key milestones such as runway alignment, crane start-up, and load testing. This keeps everyone working from the same playbook and reduces the handoffs that often cause schedule slips.

We frequently assist safety and maintenance teams with questions around standards, inspection intervals, and modernization versus replacement. The outcome of a consulting engagement is not a stack of buzzwords; it is a clear path you can execute confidently, backed by practical recommendations and drawings your teams and contractors can actually build and maintain.
